Worst 15 Minutes of My Life

(in recent history, that is... Not totally ever)

I woke up this morning, with much reluctance, to pay bills. Yes boring.

As I got home, I noticed the utter silence. Pindrop silence.

[Usually my PC will be buzzing away and the antique air-conditioning thing will be woosh-ing away.]

PANIC!

I immediately ran to the electric box or whatever its called near the main door and flicked the switch up. And down. And up. Again and again.

NOTHING.

Shite. MY PRONNNN!!!!!

*I MUST GET ELECTRICITY BACK!

And the second thing that crossed my mind was, THE FRIDGE!!!!! My ice-creammmm...

Thirdly, I thought of how I am going to survive in a enclosed space with no cool air or working fan.

Fourthly, I thought, maybe this is the right time to panic!

Fifthly, I decided against the above line and chose to be calm.

So I left the house to check out if my neighbours are experiencing the same problem.

Heck. Everybody's at work.

Then I opened the door to the electric mainboard right outside the smallest room of my apartment. WTF SO MANY WIRES AND SWITCHES! No way I am touching anything, I don't wanna be electrocuted to char siew! [Non-halal, sorry!]

And as I walked to the lobby of my floor, I thought I should probably leave early for my lunch with extended family.

LIFTS NOT WORKING! WTFDOT.

No way I am gonna go down on the staircase on what seems like a thousand flights of stairs.

Then, I heard, "Hello! Hello!" with some inaudible grumbling animal-like sounds.

Suddenly, a hand pops out of the door of housemate-from-the-smallest-room's "bad day lift".

I ran. HANTUUUUU!!!!! *eh like horror movie okeh!*

Only when I reached the living room and calmed down, I thought, "That should be a poor guy stuck in elevator la hor?"

At that very moment, I heard some random clickety-clacks and the electricity's back.

Peace and order is restored once again. =)

Cure for a Screwed Up Life

Not approved by FDA nor KKM!

p.s. Anyways, I survived and am going to 3rd year of med school! I still can't believe it! I think I am having a prolonged overdose on serotonin, dopamine, cocaine and other whatever endogenous neurochemicals. Resulting in severely altered behaviour, shortened attention span and psychotropic high.

I think I did very naughty things with my results slip when I got drunk last night!

Whoa!

Finally, my 2nd year finals (except that it wasn't held at the end of the academic year) are over and done with! I hope I did well enough to survive thru med school. [Results next week!]

Having to sit for a clinical examination paper (2 consecutive days) just tells me I am this much closer to really be on the job soon.

Anyways, shan't bore you peeps with my boring-ness. I have been doing nothing but SLEEP and EAT and surf the NET (press 'repeat')

I found this cool guy singing on youtube. Nick Pitera.

Just watch and listen to him. OMGawd... so geng! Not perfect but whoa.

Doesn't hurt that he is kinda cute. ;P

[Tim, don't start the t***k comment again pls!]

*Try listening to HIM, without looking at the screen... then you will understand what I mean with his WHOA! factor.

Bleeding Love

A Whole New World from Disney's Aladdin

Part of Your World from Disney's The Little Mermaid

One Sweet Day, originally by Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men

Tuesday, February 05, 2008

At this moment there are 6,470,918,671 people in the world.

Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just not facing the truth. Some are evil men at war with good, and some are good struggling with evil. Six billion people in the world. Six billion souls.

Give or take a few and sometimes all you need is one.

For better or for worse.

Life is funny sometimes. It can push pretty hard but if you look close enough, you can find hope in the words of children, in the bars of the song and in the eyes of someone you love. And if you're lucky, if you're the luckiest person on this entire planet, the person you love decides to love you back.

George Bernard Shaw once wrote;

"There are two tragedies in life. One is to gain your heart's desire. The other is to lose it"

If love is tragic, then give me tragedy. Because I wouldn't give it back for the world.

After Party

So last nite, was the "Surprise!!!" birthday party for me longtime friend, E.

She was majorly moody cos everybody wished her Happy Birthday but no one wanted to hang out with her.

And the pain was amplified by an SMS from E the Second, "I am busy today lah. Why you not doing anything today ah?"

Little did E the Birthday Girl know that her BF and E the Second and Chinese-Girl-with-French-Name planned her Greek-themed surprise party from the comfort of her own home, with Daddy's help. While they were out buying discounted Baskin Robbins ice-cream for Daddy.

The 'altar'? With her birthday (cup) cakes.

Everybody brought some food ala potluck. I brought... soft drinks. LOL

There was pasta, pizza, salads, fruits (which was hardly partaken), homemade ayam goreng, nuggets, longans, lokams and KFC!!!

And we had like 60% leftovers.

Anyways, when she came in... she had the shock of her life. And was moved to tears.

Hurray US!

The cuppacake cupcakes I bought.

So we ate and talked and laughed and drank... longan with Sprite. No alcohol =(

Hey we played drinking games using the fruits ... Botak Kin had to consume a whole watermelon [sliced, of course] cos he lost to everybody. Hmph challenge the Hippo's manhood somemore lah.

Quotes from Botak Kin:

"I am pregnant with a watermelon." "I am going to poo and make the toilet all red and when my mum sees the toilet, she will think I just started menstruating." "You ho! Wait... I fertilise you with watermelon seeds!"

Other notable moments included the notable Pelf doing his lame arsey depiction of a comatosed patient (A retard trying to draw!!!) and a choo-choo! train (Farking while smoking!) during Charades.

A good night out with kerazee people. Making me less guilty for staying away from studying, a bit. The other plus point is that almost everyone there were like HOT STUFF ok! OMGawd. Congregation of young hotties (of both genders of coz!)

Her pet prawns shed their exoskeleton during the party.

NEXT SCENE:

Gardens MV. Friday. Malaysia's Federal Territories Day.

An small quaint party of 5 guys to bid adieu to Kekex who is bound for Aussie soon and celebrate PaperBagBoy's 19th birthday this weekend.

It has been a while, hasn't it?

Tim's a fan of potatoes. *winks*

My Grilled Duck Breast with grass-donno-what with oranges.

Tonnes of b*tching and laughing.

The Party of Five.

We adjourned for desserts before parting ways. [OMFG sounds so poignant!]

And saw a familiar face on the way out of Alexis. ;P

P.S. Kekex, WE WILL MISS YOU! and your JOKES *cough cough* Take care of yourself Down Under, sweetie!

And see you Monday.
